Acclaimed Agency’s Immersive Exhibit Teases Highly Anticipated Release of “Monster Hunter: World” Game.

Kenwood Experiences, an award-winning experiential marketing agency in San Francisco, CA, created an unforgettable immersive experience for client Capcom at PAX South 2018, the annual gathering of gaming enthusiasts that ran January 12-14 in San Antonio, TX.


Kenwood designed and produced Capcom’s 2,500 square foot exhibit, which provided a lead-up to the worldwide release of Capcom’s hotly anticipated Monster Hunter: World game. The centerpiece of the exhibit was a life-sized replica of a Rathalos, a breathtaking dragon-like creature from the game. The Rathalos stopped attendees in the aisles as people clamored for photo ops and queued up to play Monster Hunter: World in the realistic jungle environment of the exhibit.


The exhibit also provided guests with hands on demos for Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition, Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package, and the just-released Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.

“We drew massive crowds as our experience immersed guests in many themes from the game,” noted Jim Samalis, Kenwood’s Chief Creative Officer. “From the Rathalos to the many playable kiosks, the exhibit drew people into the game’s world and left them wanting more, which is the perfect recipe for an anticipated release.”
