KINGRICHARD ANNOUNCES HE WILL LIVESTREAM EXCLUSIVELY ON FACEBOOK GAMING

Professional streamer and competitive gamer, Richard Nelson, “KingRichard,” today announced he is teaming up with Facebook Gaming to develop video content and livestream exclusively at fb.gg/kingrichard215. He will kick-off his first livestream on the platform today. He will announce the exact time on his Instagram profile prior to going live.

A seven-time Apex Legends tournament winner, KingRichard is emerging as one of the most popular professional gamers with more than 38M total views. He is known for helping his fans level up their in-game skills, as well as creative content around gaming. Through this partnership, KingRichard plans to expand his brand by tapping into the more than 200 million people already watching live gaming video on Facebook Gaming and connecting with its broader community of passionate gaming fans. He will also take advantage of this new relationship to create original content and interact with fans across Facebook and Instagram, including increasing content via his Instagram Live account.

“Facebook is the largest social media platform in the world, so it was easy for me to jump at this opportunity to significantly grow my brand through gaming and original content. There’s also a lot of flexibility with how I’m able to distribute my content,” said KingRichard. “I’m able to livestream on both Facebook Gaming and Instagram Live, which is HUGE for me as a father. Most parents out there know that children can be unpredictable, so having the ability to livestream in different ways will help me be there for them when I’m needed and still grow my career in meaningful ways. Facebook Gaming and their community truly aligns with my needs and passions, and I couldn’t be more excited!”

“We’re thrilled to welcome KingRichard to Facebook Gaming. We’re focused on building positive, welcoming communities around gaming, and KingRichard’s unbridled positivity is a perfect fit for the platform,” said Leo Olebe, global director, games partnerships at Facebook Gaming. “While all competitive livestreamers teach by example, KingRichard is one who will really take the time to teach his fans how to level up their in-game skills.”

KingRichard’s move to Facebook Gaming was facilitated by Loaded, the gamers’ management company responsible for overseeing key areas of his career, including sponsorships, media licensing, merchandising, book publishing, partnerships, appearances and more.

“We are excited for KingRichard to build upon his relationship with Facebook Gaming. He has built an incredible loyal fanbase thanks to his passion for gaming and dedication to help his community be better at today’s most popular games. This partnership will help him extend that mentorship, broaden his reach to even more gamers looking to learn something new and see a new side of him with content across Facebook and Instagram.” said Brandon Freytag, co-founder and SVP of Talent at Loaded.
