Latest Forza Horizon 5 Update Brings Sign Language Support

Today, Playground Games announced that American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) will be coming to Forza Horizon 5 via a free content update on March 1st, 2022. A first for an Xbox Game Studios title, the update will bring sign language support for 150 Forza Horizon 5 in-game cinematics.

The feature, (available via Settings -> Accessibility -> Sign Language Picture-in-Picture) allows customization of the picture-in-picture sign language placement and background color, in ASL or BSL. Created in consultation with members of the deaf and hard of hearing community, and utilizing actors from the deaf community to interpret, the game supports 150 in-game cinematics and cut-scenes throughout Forza Horizon 5’s story.
