Luden.io is happy to announce the first major update for Learning Factory, its factory automation game with machine learning elements (and lots of cats). In this new update, to be released on April 22nd, players will be able to enjoy a new game, create their own maps thanks to a new procedural map generator and enjoy a bunch of quality of life improvements.
The procedural map generator will allow players to create unique maps, instead of having just one available as of now. The possibilities are now endless, so players will decide what kind of challenge they want to face. Learning Factory also features a new character design, an unlockable hoverboard that will help you move faster around your factory as well as new machines and new resources, like cloth.
LEARNING FACTORY’S NEW BUILD FEATURES:
- Enjoy a procedural map generator that will allow the creation of unique maps with all kinds of landscapes and options (will you be able to create a factory on a bunch of islands?)
- Design your dream island thanks to a tool that allows lifting and relocating pieces of ground, along with growing plants
- Play the new Freeplay Mode, which will let you build a factory with no ties to the tutorial.
- Move faster in a new hoverboard (an unlockable item through research)
- New character design (with a cat sticking out of his backpack)
- New machine for production: the Loom
- New resource: Cloth
- A factory analytics tool that will detect issues in sales and/or production and will show graphs to the players so they can solve them
- Updated art and animations as well as bug fixes
- Updated localizations
