Developer Binary Tree Studio has just released a major update to their turn-based roguelike game Siege of Dungeon. This update adds new relics as well as three new gameplay mechanics which will provide new challenges and an overall smoother dungeon experience for players. Starting today, Siege of Dungeon is also available on Steam at a 10% discount for a limited time.
Siege of Dungeon is a team-based title that combines rouge-lite elements with traditional turn-based RPGs. Each time a player delves into the dungeon it will be completely new and filled with randomly generated events, enemies traps, and more. Rewards for adventurers are also randomized with more than 140 relics to uncover including the most recent additions that were just added.
The newest update for Siege of Dungeon, launching today, features Challenge Mode which will allow players to test out their skills. New challenges will appear for players that have completed the main dungeon. The more difficult enemies that players defeat the greater their rewards will be. There are six levels of difficulty each with its own challenges on offer for prospective adventures.
Some other changes that have gone live today include Auto Mode, and the Character Upgrade System, as well as some minor changes and additions. Auto Mode allows players to gain investigation points according to their progress for each dungeon run. Accumulate these points to unlock new skills and rewards. The Character Upgrade system gives players a way to prepare their adventurers for their next dungeon crawl. Use the character you wish to level up when taking on the dark hallways of the dungeon and then use your collected spoilers to upgrade them for an even longer run the next time!
