Game music cover band LONELYROLLINGSTARS is thrilled to release their second album, SUGARBURGER, in USB-equipped slap bracelet and digital formats. Drawing their name from the Katamari Damacy series, synth metal band LONELYROLLINGSTARS has earned itself the adoration of fans around the cosmos for its selection of stellar yet obscure source material and its quirky on-stage visual presentations. The band is on a roll after their recent performance at the annual Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest) event where they played selections from SUGARBURGER as well as Transformers: The Movie (1986) and ROCKY IV alongside composer Vince DiCola. SUGARBURGER is now available on limited edition slap bracelet for $10 USD as well as digitally for name-your-price on Bandcamp:

“The songs that we selected for SUGARBURGER came less out of a group think discussion and more out of individual wish-list fulfillment,” comments LONELYROLLINGSTARS bassist George “norg” Nowik. “The slap bracelet idea came from Grant ‘Stemage’ Henry, who said in a passing a few years back ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if we did slap bracelets?’ Fast forward to last year when we saw for the first time that you could embed a flash thumb drive into the end of a slap bracelet just as we were finishing the album, and the choice was very clear: Slap Bracelet Albums. The world will never be the same again.”

To drive home LONELYROLLINGSTAR’s eclectic track selection and song titles, SUGARBURGER rolls up the following majestic ditties for fans to enjoy:

01. Bikement of Excitement [Excitebike, NES]
02. SPLATATOUILLE [Splatoon, Wii U]
03. If You Gauntlet, Flauntlet [Gauntlet, NES]
04. Arkista Girl & I Liked it [Arkista’s Ring, NES]
05. PRRPRRFGRRLS [Powerpuff Girls, TV]
06. I AM GORGEOUS, I AM IMPACT [Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon Medley, N64]
07. Find Him & Kill Him [Super Mario Bros 2, NES; Too Many Cooks, TV]
08. Flirting Guys [Persona 4, PS2]
09. GET A ROOM, MAN [Gitaroo Man, PS2]
10. King of Spade(r)s [Shovel Knight, PC]
11. Loot Maestro [Treasure Master, NES]
12. Merging Black Holstice [Solstice, NES]

“We all know that feeling when you attend a rock concert and afterward you find yourself saying ‘Gee, I sure wish that concert had incorporated vastly greater amounts of rainbows and comfort,'” adds keys player Chris “Cubosh” Dlugosz. “This confluence of like-minds had yielded the planetary alignment necessary for the five members of LONELYROLLINGSTARS to agree to join forces despite living thousands of miles apart. We loved this idea of comfort, like some kind of backwards punk rock deviation from “the norm.” A few hundred overtly organized and colorized shared spreadsheets later, and voila: we emerged as a viable force in the game music community and our flag color was all of the colors.”
