Metal Unit, the darling indie platformer being published by NEOWIZ and developed by JellySnow Studio, just released the 1.0 version on Steam after spending nearly one year in Early Access.
Since first launching on Steam last February, Metal Unit has built up a solid community of dedicated fans and worked closely with them to develop the game according to their feedback. They also released a multitude of updates throughout the year and have steadily maintained a “Very Positive” rating. This update will feature several bosses that have been overhauled, a New Game+ mode and language support for Russian, German, Spanish and French.
“During Early Access, Metal Unit has gone through numerous iterations to integrate feedback and suggestions from the community,” said Felix Soumpholphakdy, CEO of JellySnowStudio. “Now, we are proud to release the 1.0 version which is the result of over 2 years of passionate work and collaboration from JellySnow, Neowiz and our supporters.”
While JellySnow Studio will continue to update the PC version for the foreseeable future, they’re also planning to release Metal Unit for the Nintendo Switch later this year.
Metal Unit is available now on Steam and will be 20% off for the next week.
