An open alpha is coming for the mining sandbox adventure game Core Keeper. Players can download and play directly from Steam starting December 1st – 14th, 2021.
The open alpha will give players an opportunity to get their hands on the game ahead of its early access launch in 2022 and will include base-building, combat, mining, cooking, and crafting. Play solo or with up to eight players in an online co-op.
Participants will get a sneak peek of the game’s ancient world ahead of its release on Steam Early Access next year.
Releasing on Steam Early Access in early 2022, Core Keeper is a 1-8 player mining sandbox adventure set in an ancient cavern of creatures, resources, and trinkets. Players will mine relics and resources to build their base, craft new equipment and survive. Defeat giant monsters, discover hidden secrets, farm crops, cook new recipes, and explore a procedurally generated underground world to unravel the mystery of the ancient Core.
