Hasbro has announced and released a brand-new edition of the classic Monopoly board game – Monopoly The Super Mario Bros. Movie Edition Game – coinciding with the theatrical release of Nintendo and Illumination’s animated action-comedy, The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
In this edition, Monopoly players can immerse themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom and the world of the film, with six Monopoly tokens inspired by characters and power-ups from The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Tokens include Toad’s frying pan, a Super Mushroom, Peach’s crown, and more.

Players use gold coins instead of Monopoly cash in a race to collect the most coins and win. Owning matching property sets can boost earnings, but players must watch out for Bowser, who can swipe properties, steal coins, or send players to jail.
