YouTube video

Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L. have revealed that MotoGP23, the official videogame for the 2023 MotoGP season, will be launched on June 8th, 2023. The game will feature all the official riders and tracks for the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE categories and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Career Mode and Turning Points: Chart Your Path to Glory

MotoGP 23’s career mode has been redesigned to offer players greater freedom in crafting their own journey towards becoming a motorcycle racing legend. Turning points will affect career paths based on individual performance and decisions. Progressing through different classes will depend on the results achieved. Securing a contract may be challenging, as each team will only have two spots, and players will compete with official riders for those positions. Turning points will also influence bike development during seasonal tests through dedicated challenges.

For the first time in the franchise, MotoGP 23 will feature a social network for interactions with riders, teams, and manufacturers. Players’ actions on the social network will influence how AI behaves during races, adding another layer of strategy and competition.

Enhanced Realism: Dynamic Weather and Flag-to-Flag

Two new features have been added to enhance the simulation experience, namely Dynamic Weather and Flag-to-Flag. With Dynamic Weather, changing conditions can quickly turn a race from dry to wet, requiring skill and strategy. Flag-to-Flag races provide the option to return to the pit lane and switch bikes for strategic advantages. Additionally, the Advanced AI feature ensures that in-game riders’ behaviors are consistent with their real-life racing styles, offering a more authentic experience.

Accessible Gaming Experience: Riding Aids and MotoGP Academy

To cater to both seasoned gamers and newcomers, MotoGP 23 includes new riding aids for brakes, acceleration, and handling, delivering a gaming experience that is both accessible and ambitious. The MotoGP Academy also returns to help players learn the basics or perfect their riding style through dedicated training sessions.

Multiplayer Options: Cross-Play and Ranked Races

MotoGP 23 offers various multiplayer options, both online and offline. Cross-play enables racing with other players regardless of the platform and console generation, while Ranked Races ensure fair competition by matching players of the same rank. The 2-player local split-screen feature is also available for challenging friends side by side.

Customization: Helmet, Sticker, Racing Number, and Butt Patch Editors

Players can personalize their MotoGP 23 experience with the helmet, sticker, racing number, and butt patch graphic editors, creating a unique journey in the world of MotoGP.

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows
