Lilith Games has announced today that the point and click puzzle adventure Mr. Pumpkin 2: Walls of Kowloon will be arriving for iOS and Android devices on April 23. As the follow up to the successful Mr. Pumpkin Adventure, Mr. Pumpkin 2 has become highly anticipated by fans reaching over 400,000 pre-registrations.
Mr. Pumpkin 2 takes players to the legendary city of Kowloon. Traveling through the city streets on traditional methods befitting of the era such as cable cars, double-decker buses, and tramways, players will get to know the city’s inhabitants and hear their stories. As they learn more about the residents of Kowloon, players will also uncover how to crack the code on the Dragon Gate and escape the city.
As players explore Kowloon, they’ll face a myriad of puzzles of varying difficulty. In addition throughout their adventure, players will encounter Easter eggs hidden throughout the city paying homage to the game’s aesthetic inspiration, the golden era of Asia’s 90’s film. Featuring hand-drawn stylized scenes and a soundtrack befitting of the age, players are transported to a time and place now much forgotten.
Players can pre-register for their adventures in Mr. Pumpkin 2: Walls of Kowloon by visiting the App Store or Google Play. The walls of Kowloon will be open to players globally beginning on April 23.
