Warner Bros. Games today announced the start of Season 1 and an all-new Battle Pass for MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform fighter developed by Player First Games. The Season 1 Battle Pass is available now for players to earn in-game rewards and includes a free option with a variety of items, such as the LeBron James I’m Freakin’ Robin (Space Jam: A New Legacy) character variant, alongside a premium option featuring the Taz Tune Squad ’96 (Space Jam) variant, Harley Task Force X (The Suicide Squad) variant, and more. Both the free and paid Battle Pass paths include new badges, profile icons, banners, ringouts, and other rewards.
Today’s announcement also included the reveal of two new playable characters – Black Adam (DC) and Stripe (Gremlins). DC’s magic powered anti-hero and the mohawk wearing Gremlin leader will join the MultiVersus roster in the coming months as part of Season 1, along with Morty Smith and Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty). Morty will be available on August 23rd, 2022 while Rick will release later in Season 1. Additionally, new modes will be added to MultiVersus in the months ahead during Season 1, including Classic Arcade and Ranked.
