The Pokémon Company International today revealed more information about Tera Raid Battles, special in-game events, and more for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, launching on November 18th, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
As Trainers explore the Paldea region, they can:
- Reference the Scarlet Book and the Violet Book for more information about unidentified Pokémon.
- For a limited time, defeat tough Pokémon and receive bountiful rewards in Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles.
- Participate in special Tera Raid Battle Events that increase encounters with certain Pokémon or Tera Types.
- Catch the newly discovered Pokémon Gimmighoul.

The Pokémon Company International also shared in-game event details coming soon for Pokémon UNITE and plans for Pokémon HOME and Pokémon GO compatibility with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
