Nexon’s Blue Archive is gearing up for its upcoming event story “Business Trip! Momoyodou” with pre-registration open now until January 31st. Players who pre-register for the event by filling out a Beach Shack Employment contract on the Blue Archive official website can look forward to receiving several rewards including 1,200 Pyroxene following the update on January 31st.

Pre-Registration Rewards

The gifts for pre-registering go beyond the 1,200 Pyroxene, as players can also receive additional rewards depending on the number of participants. In addition to Pyroxene, players can receive 10 Advanced Tech Note Choice Tickets and 10 Advanced Tactical Training BD Choice Tickets. There’s even a chance to be one of 500,000 participants to receive 10 Free Recruitment Tickets.

Event-Story: Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force

Blue Archive fans can also play a new event story, “Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force,” following the January 31st update. This story may take place on vacation, but travelers will put relaxation aside as they face off against Wakamo and the Helmet Gang at a deserted island resort. That’s not all to look forward to, however, as New World Raid content “Allied Operation” will be introduced for the first time.

New Students

Along with the update comes three brand-new, unique students for players to meet:

  • Wakamo (Swimsuit) – Wakamo may have been suspended from the Hyakkiyako Allied Academy, but that isn’t stopping her. She is a Piercing-type Striker whose EX Skill, “Caledon Flower Divination,” inflicts the Stun effect and deals damage proportional to her ATK. It deals damage to the enemy a total of six times and applies an additional Stun effect with the last attack.
  • Nonomi (Swimsuit) – Hailing from Abydos Academy, Nonomi is an Explosive-type Striker who can deal damage proportional to her ATK to a single enemy. Her EX Skill, “Time to Cool Off!,” ignores the delays between normal attacks up to a certain number of times.
  • Ayane (Swimsuit) – Players can also get the Piercing-type Special student Ayane (Swimsuit) through the event. Acting as Tactical Support, her EX Skill allows her to appear in battle mounted on a Water Cloud. On the Water Cloud, Wakamo can activate Missile Rain every 12 seconds to deal damage proportional to her ATK to a single enemy while ignoring a portion of their DEF.

Beach Shack Special

Nexon also is commemorating this update with a Beach Shack Special. A Ball minigame will be available to players until Feb. 5, and they can visit the minigame page and try to pick the right cup to win rewards, including 600 Pyroxene and 10 Advanced Tech Notes Choice Tickets.

Convenience Updates

There will also be various convenience updates, such as a feature to fix skills at the start of the battle, a Friend System, a skip feature for the Tactical Challenge content, and a Formation preset.

January – March Roadmap

The “Business Trip! Momoyodou” event story isn’t the only thing to get excited about, as Nexon unveiled the roadmap for Blue Archive updates through March. The second half of the main story, “Eden Treaty Vol. 3 Chapter 4: Kyrie of the Forgotten Gods,” and the event story “After-School Sweets Club: A Sweet Secret and Shootout” are forthcoming. Additionally, charming new students such as Hoshino (Swimsuit), Saori, and Kazusa will be introduced.
