Nintendo has announced the launch of a new special edition Nintendo Switch OLED model, named The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition, which is set to launch on April 28th. The system features a special design from the game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and bears the familiar Hylian Crest on the front of the dock. The new console features a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port, 64 GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio in handheld and tabletop mode. The console can be played in TV mode, handheld mode, and tabletop mode, making it versatile for different settings.
Two accessories with designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will also be available separately on May 12th, including the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and the Nintendo Switch carrying case. The game and accessories are available for pre-order, and the Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, demonstrated new gameplay from the upcoming title during a presentation. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will embark on an epic adventure across the land and skies of Hyrule, where they must use Link’s new abilities to fight back against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom. Players can decide their own path through the vast landscapes of Hyrule and the mysterious islands in the skies above, harnessing the power of their imagination to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.
