Just announced at the [email protected] showcase, Lightyear Frontier is a mech farming and exploration game that will see you building a home away from home on a new planet, in co-op or solo, all this with a cosmic country soundtrack.
Lightyear Frontier promises a chilled-out experience, as the player can’t die… but crops will need all the help they can get, in the face of changing weather and the local wildlife (which can be kept at bay or tamed). Between farming and base-building, you’ll have a chance to explore this new planet… and perhaps uncover its mystery.
Revealed at the Twitchgaming Showcase: [email protected] today, Lightyear Frontier is an open-world farming exploration game with a mystery-driven narrative and a cosmic country soundtrack. Set to please farming and exploration/crafting fans alike, Lightyear Frontier is being developed and published by FRAME BREAK and Amplifier Game Invest, and is launching on PC in Early Access and Xbox platforms (launch window TBA).
Lightyear Frontier invites you (and your friends in up to a 4-player co-op) to grow a cornucopia of cosmic resources and use your fresh harvest to improve your mech equipment. As you become a seasoned farmer with a souped-up mech, you’ll soon be able to grow rare plants and further explore previously inaccessible environments… and maybe uncover a mystery on this new planet.
