Overwatch League Team Seoul Dynasty Bolsters Roster

Gen.G esports’ Overwatch League team, Seoul Dynasty, have announced a roster change ahead of the 2019 season, signing tanker Baek “Fissure” Chan-hyung.

After establishing himself as one of the premiere tankers in the league with the London Spitfire and LA Gladiators, “Fissure” joins Seoul Dynasty at the height of his career. Coming off a season in which he was named to the All-Star team and finished second in the Overwatch League MVP voting, “Fissure” adds a special dynamic to this Seoul Dynasty club, immediately changing and bolstering the makeup of the team.

“We’re thrilled to add a player of Fissure’s caliber,” said Arnold Hur, Gen.G esports Chief Growth Officer. “He’s a difference-maker who will step right in and contribute immediately.”

“I’ve dreamt of playing for Seoul Dynasty for a long time. I’m very excited to wear the Seoul Dynasty uniform and I will try to bring my A game for the fans,” said Baek ‘Fissure’ Chan-hyung regarding his new team. “Also, I’d like to express my gratitude to the players and management team of the LA Gladiators, who have supported my decision. I won’t forget the memorable moments I had last season as part of the LA Gladiators.”

Lee ‘Hocury’ Ho-cheol commented, “We ask our fans for their continued support as Seoul Dynasty has undergone some changes. Our goal is to build a stronger team for the 2019 season.”
