Gen.G esports Overwatch team Seoul Dynasty is hosting the invitational match, the ‘Overwatch Pacific Challenge’, at Paradise City Hotel & Resort in Incheon, Korea on the 29th.
This ‘Overwatch Pacific Challenge’, as the last event for the fans to meet with Seoul Dynasty players before they depart for the 2019 season, will be composed of a private fan meeting, a friendly match with Guangzhou Charge, and a festive performance from the popular hip-hop artist Epik High. Neu, the widely known licensing and merchandising company, will be the title sponsor and Paradise City Hotel will provide the arena and other amenities as the official sponsor.
This event, which will be held from 10 AM to 6 PM, will kick off with the Seoul Dynasty fan meeting. At the private fan meeting for those who purchased the premium tickets, Dynasty and Grand Master class, fans will have the chance to meet the existing roster, Joon Hyeok “ZUNBA” Kim, Je Hong “ryujehong” Yu, Jin Mo “tobi” Yang, Chan Hyung “Fissure” Baek, Sang Beom “Munchkin” Byun and Byung Sun “FLETA” Kim, as well as Min Hyuk “Michelle” Choi, Min Seo “Marve1” Hwang, and Seung Soo “Jecse” Lee, who newly joined the team in November, along with the latest addition, Dong Eon “FITS” Kim.
The fan meeting will allow fans to interact with the players before the match and take pictures with the players in styling never seen before. In addition, Dynasty class ticket holders will receive a special edition ID card, which will allow them to step on the actual stage where the match took place with the players, after the ‘Overwatch Pacific Challenge’ match is over.
Following the fan event, at 2 PM, is the invitational match between Seoul Dynasty and Guangzhou Charge, who newly joined Overwatch League 2019 season. The two teams will compete in a friendly match to test their skills before the official league starts and will put on an interesting match and spectacle for the fans. Before the match starts, the famous hip-hop artist Epik High will give an opening performance, adding more excitement to the arena.
The ‘Overwatch Pacific Challenge’ tickets, can be purchased at 4 PM on December 11th through Ticketlink.
