Overwatch Star “Dafran” to Quit Streaming and Start a Farm

Daniel “Dafran” Francesca of the Atlanta Reign is known for his absurd surprises and trolls. It seems now he has lost his desire to pursue his bright future as an Esports professional and take up farming. No not farming simulator or any other type of game, he has elected to only stream on rare occasions and focus on agriculture.

As of now this does not appear to be another surprise stunt but be aware, he is regularly accused of creating controversies and being toxic. In a Twitlonger post sent via his Twitter account today, he detailed his plan for venturing into full-time agriculture.

My friends! From the bottom of my heart, thanks for all the incredible years and unforgettable memorys.

It is time for a new chapter in my life.

I am going to be starting on an education, that has to do with growing fruits, vegetables and etc.

The biggest 2 reasons of why I am doing this:
1. We only have 1 life to live, do what makes you happy
2. I have already spent 1/3 of my life infront of the computer

I am not going to stream regularly anymore. This is not the end completely though, I will still stream for fun but rarely

Again, thanks for everything guys, it has been a pleasure

As expected, the community reacted with shock and of course much skepticism due to his priors. People expressed gratitude for his contribution to the Overwatch League during his carrier but also questioned whether this post was a troll or not. As for now, it seems Dafran is excited about his retirement and starting a farm.
