Paralympic Video Game Enlists Disability Influencers to Raise Awareness

High Profile Disability Influencers Join Group of 300 International Personalities to Launch Social Media Campaign Promoting the Positive Message of the Paralympics.

#PegasusSupporters aims to reach over 200 million young people across the globe through the first-ever Paralympics video game.

Actor and YouTuber Brent Rivera alongside viral TikTok comedian Ricky Berwick and hundreds more unite as official supporters advocating the diversity and inclusivity of the Paralympic Games

A diverse group of more than 300 top internet influencers, including disabled influencers, actors, models, and comedians have been appointed by SWARM, powered by Heat.Social, as Official Pegasus Supporters who will uphold the values and positivity of the Paralympics by joining together inside the online world of the first-ever Paralympic video game, “The Pegasus Dream Tour”.

TikTok and Instagram stars across the globe will unite behind #PegasusSupporters to reach their 200+ million followers and highlight the excitement and action of the Paralympics to a younger generation.

Actor and YouTuber Brent Rivera, who has over 80 million followers on social media, headlines the campaign alongside comedian Ricky Berwick, who was born with mobility limiting Beals-Hecht syndrome and has amassed over 144M likes on his TikTok channel for his comedic skits. Ricky along with 12 other popular disability influencers and advocates have been made into avatars featured inside the game for fans to take photos and interact with.

These include 22-year-old wrestling freestyler Zion Clarke, LA DJ Daniel Amaya (aka DJ Mizter Bonezz), all-terrain wheelchair creator Sam Durst (aka ExtremeMotus), actor Kewon Vines, and ‘Shortest Married Couple’ world record holders Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino.

Other influencers who have signed on as Official Pegasus Supporters include American social media personality and model Alexis Ren, Canadian TikToker Leena Dong, American fitness top model Jailyne Ojeda, American influencer Adam Waheed (Adam W), Netherlands Actor and Model Twan Kuyper, musician/artist SPENCE, Guerreros Kida, and Argentinian influencer A Bailer con Maga.

Users can tag #PegasusSupporters to take part in the fun and gain access to a special face paint filter on Instagram.

The Pegasus Dream Tour is a free-to-play game mobile game created in collaboration between The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and development studio JP Games who were founded by Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata.

This brand new way to interact with the iconic sporting event has been built around the IPC’s values of diversity and inclusion, featuring nine of the world’s top para-athletes including; Takayuki Hirose (Boccia / Japan), Patrick Anderson (Wheelchair basketball / Canada), Holly Robinson (Javelin / New Zealand) and Silvio Velo (Football 5-a-side / Argentina).

Players will be able to customize their avatar’s prostheses and wheelchairs as they train in a number of para-sports including; the precision-ball-sport boccia, football 5-a-side, athletics, and wheelchair basketball.
