Nordcurrent Labs (Vilnius, Lithuania) and Black Tower Basement (Kharkiv, Ukraine) have just announced Greedventory, a brand new 2D pixel art point & slash adventure, at Guerrilla Collective. This story-driven action adventure with souls-like elements challenges players to master the traditional hack & slash mechanics with a twist: instead of mashing buttons, players will have to attack, defend and parry using their mouse, thrusting and slashing with it as if it was their own sword! Greedventory will be available for PC on Steam and GOG.
Greedventory blends different genres adding a unique twist. It’s an action-adventure set in a 2D world with beautiful (and quite bloody) pixel art. There are some souls-like elements (you should be ready to die A LOT) but its unique feature is its combat system: instead of using a controller or a keyboard, Greedventory challenges players to be able to attack, but most importantly parry, their enemies. It’s a game crafted for skilled people that want to feel rewarded once they master the flow of the game.
