Today during the Facebook Connect: Future of AR/VR Survios Inc. and Taito Corp. announced Puzzle Bobble VR: Vacation Odyssey. The all new immersive experience follows the adorable dragons Bob and Bub as their island vacation takes an unexpected turn.
In fully immersive virtual reality, players will be able to aim, shoot, and pop bubbles. Mix and match 3 or more of the same color bubbles until there are none left and clear stages. Like the game’s previous titles, once a player is overwhelmed by bubbles, it’s game over!
Puzzle Bobble VR: Vacation Odyssey features 100 stages of endless puzzle solving fun and is easy to pick-up and play, allowing everyone to enjoy its intuitive control design. The game also features a story mode providing players with dozens of unique levels to clear, and seek out a 3 star rank to unlock the next stage in Bob and Bub’s adventure.
By earning coins throughout the game, players can unlock game-changing power-ups, providing a mix of strategic ways to maximize bubble-popping power. VR gestures activate power ups throughout the game.
“Infinite Mode” challenges players to shoot and pop their way to a highscore with never-ending waves of bubble mayhem and climb the leaderboards with this mode. Finally, Puzzle Bobble VR: Vacation Odyssey will have an “online duel mode” pitting players against each other for PVP mayhem.
