The two-day online event this month features two Rocket League tournaments; one for fans and another for influencers.

Acer, a leading gaming hardware provider, will host Predator League 2022 on October 25th and 26th. This two-day online community event includes two Rocket League gaming tournaments; one open to anyone who wants to compete and the other competition between 8 renowned Rocket League streamers who will team up to win $25,000 for a charity of their choice out of four select non-profit organizations.

“Predator League is an opportunity for PC gamers to connect, have fun, and inspire others to do the same,” said Richard Black, vice president of marketing, at Acer America. “It’s a top priority for Acer to support gamers of all levels and backgrounds with the hardware, community, and experiences that will help them hone their skills, expand their networks, and have a great time doing it. We’re also excited to use this event to benefit charities providing education and services focused on building a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable society.”

Predator League: Charity Invitational

The Predator League: Charity Invitational is a Rocket League 2v2 tournament hosted by four popular esports commentators JorbyPls, WavePunk, LemonKiwi, and Dazerin. They will showcase 8 influential Rocket League streamers, including Azfura, Karma, Kronovi, Mang0, Rizzo, SunlessKhan, and Trihouse, competing in a double-elimination, best-of-three format.

The teams will choose one of four select non-profits to represent, which means each of the four will be represented by two teams. These philanthropic organizations include cxcmmunity that’s committed to increasing the representation of minorities in esports through STEAM development; 1,000 Dreams Fund that supports the dreams of young women in need by providing access to funding, resources, and mentors; EARTHSHOT, which works to inspire climate action by engaging people in cleantech educational activities; and Games for Change that hosts events and programs developed for people of all ages to collaboratively explore, discuss and impact next-generation gaming.

The winning team’s non-profit choice will earn a $25,000 donation, while the remaining three non-profits will each receive a $3,000 donation. The Predator League: Charity Invitational will be streamed live on Twitch.tv/BTSRocketLeague and on all participating influencer Twitch.tv channels starting at 1 p.m. Pacific time on October 26th.
