We know it’s early in the morning, we know it’s cold outside, we understand that you don’t want to get up and go to school today… But come on, you have to: you’re the principal! Welcome to your high school, principal! We’ve got some news for you. Squeaky Wheel announces that tomorrow their acclaimed management/tycoon game Academia: School Simulator, from the artist of Prison Architect, will get the new free major update “Land Expansion”.
Principals from all over the world will be excited to know that the city council now allows you to buy more land for the school. About time – just one more student in the classrooms and they would have to sit in each other’s laps. On the other hand, this update also brings the possibility to increase the student population cap, in case you do want them to (metaphorically) sit in each other’s laps.
With this update, school buses arrive at your high school too: now you can pay for transportation for your students, so they are happier and better rested when they get to class! Finally, Land Expansion implements a brand new utility for energy generation, so your high school can get solar panels and water pumps to offset the cost of water and electricity. Academia: School Simulator is available on Steam Early Access for €19.99/$19.99. I’ve left all the paperwork on your desk. Mind the students in detention, they are particularly cranky today. Have a good day, sir!
