Ravenswatch, a new game set in the corrupted lands of Reverie, has entered Early Access, allowing players to join the battle against the Nightmares that have invaded the once-lush lands. As a member of the Ravenswatch, players will team up with famous heroes to reclaim the Dark Hills and cleanse Reverie of its corruption.
Initially, Ravenswatch features six legendary heroes, each with unique and complementary skills:
- Scarlet, a werewolf version of Little Red Riding Hood
- Franz, the Pied Piper of Hamelin, capable of summoning rat hordes
- Beowulf, a Goth warrior-king with a dragon companion
- Nyss, the Snow Queen, who freezes enemies and glides across the battlefield
- Aladdin, a thief with the power to grant wishes and alter combat outcomes
- Melusine, a siren who wields a destructive orb
Four additional heroes are planned to join Ravenswatch in the coming months.
Players must navigate the treacherous lands of Reverie, now home to fearsome enemies and corrupted by the Nightmare hordes. They can embark on quests solo or with up to three companions, carefully selecting their allies to maximize their chances of success. Revive Feathers enable players to overcome death and learn from their failures.
The Nightmares in Ravenswatch adapt to players’ presence, altering the environment and reorganizing their forces with each new attempt. Throughout their journey, players will encounter powerful enemies, dangerous caverns, troubled inhabitants, and guarded treasures. As players strengthen their bond with each hero, they will gain access to new skills.
Gathering experiences and uncovering treasures makes players more powerful, enabling them to create new synergies with their teammates. Each region is ruled by a particularly formidable Nightmare, which must be defeated before progressing in the adventure. Players must conquer three corrupted regions to defeat the Nightmares.
