Tickets for the UK’s first major Fortnite LAN esports tournament, Red Bull Contested, will be available for general sale starting Monday, April 10th at 09:00. Fans from around the world can purchase tickets at redbull.co.uk/contested to witness this groundbreaking Fortnite tournament live at McEwan Hall in Edinburgh.
Red Bull Contested is set to take place on June 10th, 2023, and will invite top Fortnite players from around the globe to compete in a unique battle royale tournament format in Scotland. The competition will feature a custom solos format created specifically for Red Bull Contested, with eight intense rounds and a twist on the traditional points system. In the final four rounds, eliminations will be worth double points, encouraging players to adopt aggressive strategies and making for an unforgettable finale.
Several professional players have already confirmed their participation in the tournament, including Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen, Harry “Veno” Pearson, Thomas “Th0masHD” Høxbro Davidsen, Jaden “Wolfiez” Ashman, and Zachariah “Pinq” Siddall.
The tournament will be held in Edinburgh’s iconic McEwan Hall, with a live audience of over 500 fans. Visitors attending Insomnia70 were given exclusive early access to tickets and the opportunity to participate in challenges with Red Bull player Jaden “Wolfiez” Ashman to win their way into the audience at the event.
Red Bull Contested will be broadcast live on Red Bull’s Twitch and YouTube channels, with AGON by AOC serving as the official Monitor Partner.
