Yesterday, Red Bull Gaming’s educational gaming video content series Class in Session returns with a four-episode series made specifically for those looking to improve their knowledge, skills, and ranking in the team-based, first-person shooter VALORANT.
Hosted by Cloud9 coach Renox, Class in Session VALORANT takes a class of five players looking to rank up their skills by giving them personalized roles and responsibilities such as shot-caller or support and evaluating their performance using the assessment software “Aim Labs.” Each episode touches on multiple topics such as “Communication” or “Map Movement” and will be supported by a lecture as well as a detailed performance analysis of gameplay.
The first episode “Agents, Roles, and Team Composition” examines the pre-match preparation phase, specifically on how to assign roles and build team compositions as players prepare for their matches.

This episode will also show how agents work together in a drill designed for team play. Players face off in 2v2 or 3v3 situations, with one “team” focused on holding a random point on the map while the other attacks. This drill encourages player coordination under a number of circumstances while building natural instincts for using the tools at their agents’ disposal.
