Today, Red Bull announced a new gaming competition, Red Bull Subway Showdown – a one-of-a-kind crosstown rivalry showdown that pits New York’s borough against borough to crown the best borough at Street Fighter V. NYC is home to one of Street Fighter V’s most vibrant competitive scenes and now it’s time to see which borough reigns supreme over the city!
Local gamers can register to battle it out at borough qualifiers (9/18/21) for the chance to represent their borough in an intra-city competition the following weekend (9/26/21) where borough-based teams made up of all-star captains and qualifying players will face off to see who really runs the NYC Street Fighter V scene.
Borough qualifiers will take place simultaneously across New York on 9.18.2021 at the following locations:
- Manhattan and Staten Island @ OS Studios – 50 Bowery, New York, NY 10013
- Brooklyn @ Next Level – 874 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11232
- Queens @ Upper 90 Soccer Center – 34-22 Steinway St, Queens, NY 11101
- Bronx @ DreamYard – 1085 Washington Ave, Bronx, NY 10456
- Long Island @ The Gamers Club – 334 Hempstead Ave, West Hempstead, NY 11552
- Commuter @ This will be determined through an online qualifier.
