CROWNING THE FASTEST iRacing DRIVER IN CANADA – WATCH THE RED BULL RING MASTERS FINALS BROADCAST
After 3 Qualifiers and a knockout round, Canada’s 8 fastest Sim Racers are headed to Toronto to find out who’s number 1, live on Twitch.
Red Bull, Pfaff, Apex V2R, and iRacing are proud to announce that the finals for Red Bull Ring Masters, the premier event series searching for Canada’s fastest iRacing driver, will be broadcast LIVE at 10AM PST/1PM EST on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 on twitch.tv/iracing.
Finalists will descend on the Red Bull Gaming Studio in Toronto to compete on Sim Racing rigs provided in partnership with APEX V2R. Along with the glory of victory, competitors will vie for prizing including A $5000 Upgrade Voucher from Advanced Sim Racing to improve the winner’s sim racing setup, 1:1 coaching sessions with Red Bull Racing Esports driver Sebastian Job, as well as a Pfaff Motorsport Track experience.
Qualifiers began on October 16th, as the field of drivers descended upon iRacing’s recreation of Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the site of week 1’s competition. CGV was followed by Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for week 2, and week three gave the sim racers their last chance to qualify with a visit to the Red Bull Ring in week 3.
The 24 drivers who made it out of the first leg of competition participated in a knockout round afterward, leaving us with 8 drivers in the finals:
1 Racim Fezoui
2 Suellio Almeida
2 Andrew Caron
4 Phil Bouchard
5 Guillaume Lévesque
6 Juliano Romagnuolo
6 Brandon Hawkin
8 Ian Gagnon-Renaud
The finals broadcast, hosted by Canadian gaming personality Camille Salazar-Hadaway, and commentated by Justin Prince along with Keenan “Aero” Kusan, will showcase a move from the Time Attack events of the qualifiers, to a Sprint Race format. Drivers will compete on 3 tracks: Circuit de Spa Francorchamps, Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace (Interlagos), and a return to the Red Bull Ring.
