What can I say? I love horror games! When I hear of a horror game that doesn’t sound familiar to me, I get excited at the possibility of a brand new franchise being born. Rise of Insanity is one of these games. Released in 2018 on PC and VR by Red Limb Studios (a small and independent company), it has gained a big fanbase via Steam and it is only their second game. They are looking to bring their hit to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR … so if you wanted to play the game and don’t have a compatible PC or VR Headset, you will be able to via a PS4. Red Limb Studios shared the following press release:
“Red Limb Studio is happy to announce that first-person psychological horror game Rise of Insanity will be available for the Playstation 4 and Playstation VR on July 12 (Friday).”
“For Rise of Insanity we drew inspiration from classic psychological horror masterpieces such as The Shining, The Exorcist and Silent Hill,” says Kylu of Red Limb Studio.”
“The human mind can really be a container of horrors when we let our fears and monsters linger inside. In this game, we also wanted to represent mental illness in some original ways, and let you literally ‘fly’ through the hidden paths of consciousness.”
