Road to Guangdong, the story-based driving and management game, will receive a major overhaul later this week, ahead of a free weekend on Steam. During the free weekend, the game will be available to purchase and keep for just $4.94.
To follow, a substantial content update will drop within a few days after the free weekend, continuing Sunny and Guu Ma’s journey across Guangdong.
Week of 2 December: Road to Guangdong update launches, making the game feel much more open and seamless, with gas stations now appearing at the side of the road and players having to pull in and pull out of stations. This update also revamps the game’s core inventory and management system, plus elements of the narrative have been re-written.
6 – 8 December: Road to Guangdong free weekend promotion takes place on Steam, alongside a 67% discount.
Week of 9 December: Road to Guangdong receives a substantial content update with new story content, continuing the heartfelt story of Sunny and Guu Ma as they take a road trip across China.
