We are incredibly proud to announce our first partnership! It’s one that we’ve dreamt about ever since we got into Rocket League. We’ve had some great discussions and today’s press release means we can finally talk about it. We’re really looking forward to being able to work with Psyonix to continue growing the competitive Rocket League scene and put on more Rocket League Central competitions!
As part of our new partnership we’re going to be bringing back the fan favourite Rocket Royale tournament in a brand new format. With the RLCS on the horizon, we’ve been working on an all new format for Rocket Royale that helps to support the RLCS, carries the same international elements as the original, yet spreads the play across the week in intense bite-sized chunks.
There are several variants of our new format, and we’ve been consulting with the community to get a better idea of which ones we’ll use in the near future. Needless to say, regardless of the format we are incredibly excited about the return of Rocket Royale!
Everyone here at RLC would like to say a huge thank you to every single person who has helped make this a reality. To the Rocket League community, thank you for coming out in your thousands to watch our events. Psyonix, thank you for giving us this brilliant game to work with and for putting your faith in us to continue our work. To the players, thanks for putting on such a good show every single week, and thank you to everybody on the RLC and RLG team who has helped us to do all of the things we’ve done.
