Octane has boosted into Fortnite Battle Royale and Zero Build following today’s update! Players are now able to boost, jump, and fly their way to a Victory Royale with one of Rocket League’s most iconic cars until December 3.
Octane was made available to Fortnite Creators last month to build new Octane and Rocket League-inspired experiences with, and players can now earn XP and in-game items in Fortnite by completing High Octane Quests in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and islands in the “High Octane” Discover row. The row will feature the return of 404 Creative’s interactive Rocket League Live island and their new Rocketeer Ruins island, where Octanes must boost and fly around the map to capture the hardpoint. Additionally, selected community-built submissions from the Octane Callout will be highlighted in the High Octane Discover row.
The High Octane Quest items include four Rocket League-themed Back Board Back Bling Styles, the Clutch Victory Pickaxe, and more. In addition, if players complete eight High Octane Quests, they can unlock Fortnite’s very own Whiplash car and various other items in Rocket League and Rocket League Sideswipe.
