Developer Boomer’s Workshop has announced the roadmap for its turn-based roguelite RPG, Sanctuary Saga, revealing upcoming changes to the game. Players take on the role of guild leaders, each with their own unique stories and abilities as they explore the land of the Untamed Wilds, consisting of four diverse biomes with their own challenges and enemies.
The game’s upcoming 1.1 update will bring changes to the prologue to speed up the game’s beginning and provide more opportunities for players to gain treasure. Patch 1.2 will include adjustments to the skills system and various changes to the expedition maps. These changes are based on feedback received from the community, and Developer Boomer’s Workshop has worked to implement these updates to enhance the gameplay experience.
In Sanctuary Saga, players face dynamic turn-based battles with classic row-based mechanics, monitoring their group’s relationships and argument meter during battle. Neglecting relationships can have negative effects in combat, while maintaining them will reward players. As characters level up, they can take on increasingly powerful enemies, including 18 Mini-Boss encounters and 17 Boss encounters throughout their journey.
Sanctuary Saga is currently available on Steam, with a base version for $14.99 and a Deluxe Edition for $19.99, including unique DLC skins for characters and the game’s rhythmic soundtrack. Players can discuss their adventures with fellow guild leaders and provide feedback on the official Discord server.
