Schell Games Adds Free “Seat of Power” Level to I Expect You To Die

Leading virtual reality game development company Schell Games today announced that its award-winning, escape-the-room VR spy puzzle game I Expect You To Die will launch a new level titled “Seat of Power.” Available on the PlayStation, Steam, Oculus, and Windows stores on July 16 as free DLC, “Seat of Power” begins with the player placed at the head of the table in Dr. Zor’s boardroom, challenged to retrieve information and solve a series of puzzles to escape safely and avoid death.

“I Expect You To Die is one of our most well-received games with a still growing fan base,” said Schell Games CEO Jesse Schell. “We’ve been hearing from dedicated fans asking for new content and are excited to introduce two new levels this year on all currently supported VR platforms.”

I Expect You To Die is a virtual reality puzzle game where players take on the role of an elite secret agent. Inside the game, they attempt to survive deadly situations in immersive, dangerous locales by completing missions using problem-solving skills and wits. It’s a race to thwart the evil Dr. Zor without succumbing to traps and tricks that may cause an untimely demise. In September 2018, Schell Games announced that I Expect You To Die had generated $3 million in revenue since its launch in 2016.

“Seat of Power” will be available for free download on July 16, 2019, for anyone that owns or buys I Expects You To Die. A second free level will be added in late-2019, details of which will be announced at a future date. I Expect You To Die can be purchased on the Steam, PlayStation, Oculus, and Windows stores at a suggested retail price of $24.99 USD.
