Tiamat Games announced today that their seafaring rogue-lite RPG, Maritime Calling is coming to Steam Early Access on September 28, 2021. Inspired by the crew-management stylings of FTL: Faster than Light and the adventure antics of Master and Commander, Maritime Calling puts players in the captain’s seat of their very own vessel, as they explore uncharted waters for resource-rich land. As captain, players will be in charge of everything aboard the ship as they set sail into this dangerous frontier — from measuring for wind direction all the way to ensuring that the ship doesn’t run aground on a coral reef!
Anyone who would like to try the game before launch will also have a chance to do so as the game enters closed Beta via Steam Playtest starting August 18th, 2021. Those wishing to participate can visit the Steam store page to request access, and join the Tiamat Games Discord to join in on the conversation.
