SEGA Announces Sonic the Hedgehog Content in Samba de Amigo: Party Central for Nintendo Switch in 2023 Summer

SEGA has announced that Samba de Amigo: Party Central will be receiving Sonic the Hedgehog content in Summer 2023. This new rhythm action game will be available for the Nintendo Switch family of systems across the Americas and Europe. Sonic fans can expect two energetic songs from the series: “Escape From the City” from Sonic Adventure 2 and “Fist Bump” from Sonic Forces, as well as a stage based on City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 featuring the iconic Blue Blur himself shaking it alongside Amigo.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is a vibrant and colorful rhythm action game that offers smooth Joy-Con controls. The game features 40 hit songs from the world’s most popular genres, with additional content arriving as post-launch DLC. Players can also test their technique in a variety of mini-games and challenges, customize their character with unique costumes and accessories, and compete on the online leaderboards.

SEGA’s announcement comes after the reveal of Sonic Origins Plus, which celebrates Sonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary with remastered versions of classic games. With Sonic’s inclusion in Samba de Amigo: Party Central, fans of the Blue Blur can look forward to even more content featuring the beloved character.
