Skul Releases Dead Cells Crossover in Major Update

Skul: The Hero Slayer, the lively pixel-art 2D platformer published by NEOWIZ and developed by SouthPAW Games, has released an official Character Crossover featuring the main character from the mega-hit Dead Cells.

The ‘Prisoner’ was designed to pay homage to the original, but also fit perfectly into the world of Skul as well. In addition to newly-added character, the update also brings with it several new major features and changes to the game. The largest of which is the ability to choose your path going forward. Most maps will provide two alternate paths that players can take depending on what they need at the moment. Another major change is the ability to carry up to 9 items at one time, which should allow for even more powerful combos and exciting gameplay.

“We’ve been working behind the scenes on this for the last couple of months and are thrilled to finally share it with the world,” said Sang Woo Park, CEO of SouthPAW Games. “We’re also grateful for the support we’ve received from Motion Twin and are honored to have worked with them on this.”

Skul is available now on Steam Early Access for $17.99 USD, and will be 30% off from June 23rd until July 9th. A full release on PC is planned for this October with PS4 and Switch ports to follow.
