Sky Racket is the world’s first Shmup Breaker, mixing the classic genres of shoot ’em ups and block breakers! Inspired by classics from the 90s and winner of indie development awards, team Double Dash Studios from Brazil is proud to deliver their beloved creation to gamers around the world!
Play as RacketBoy or RacketGirl, guardians chosen by the Capybara Goddess to save your galaxy from the paws of a destructive tyrant genius, Korrg! Unable to attack by yourself, you must strike enemies’ attacks back at them, turning the battlefield into an explosive space tennis battle. Blast bullets back at enemies while flying over whimsical worlds filled with vivid, kooky colors! Rain tennis-devastation down on hordes of ducks, cat-sandwiches, fluffy bunnies, space-tennis-robots and actual BANANAS in this unique and totally realistic adventure to save the galaxy!
STORY
In a galaxy far away was a deity, Santana the Capybara Goddess, the creator of all. She lived peacefully enjoying her existence, until one fateful day…she was attacked by the terrible tyrant Korrg! He imprisoned her and snatched away her power. In a last ditch effort to save the Galaxy, Santana released two powerful artefacts capable of defeating evil: the Sky Rackets! Now, two chosen children have been tasked with saving the universe, RacketBoy and RacketGirl. Against all odds, they will make a herculean effort to travel through the Galaxy and save the existence of all.
In Sky Racket, players can rebound bullets back at enemies, dodge roll and call upon the powers of their rescued Buddies, the resistance group fighting against the tyrannical Korrg. Each of them has a distinct personality and mechanic that gives the player different strategies and styles of playing the game.
