Smalland: Survive the Wilds, the Early Access multiplayer survival hit developed and published by Merge Games, has released its first major content update, introducing new areas, enemies, weapons, and more. The update opens up the next chapter of the Smalland saga, as players journey deep into the ruins of Giant’s Fall Chapel and brave the creeping, crawling darkness of the Crypt in pursuit of ancient relics.
The new update introduces two new NPCs, the Historian and Merchant, as well as a deadly new enemy, the swarming Colony Spiders. Players can tame old foes with the Hornet mount and use the new pyrite resource to craft a brand new armor set and weapon, while trading with the merchant for new metal building parts. And, of course, there are CATAPULTS!
Smalland: Survive the Wilds is set in a rich and immersive landscape, where players take on the role of the Smallfolk, a tiny race of people battling against lake-sized puddles, mountainous trees, and monstrous creatures.
