Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg Renews Contract, Becomes Part Owner of LCS Team

TSM, the premier digital gaming platform that includes championship esports teams, leading global gaming influencers, and educational websites, today proudly announced the renewed contract of one of the world’s greatest League of Legends players, Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg.

With this new partnership, Bjergsen becomes the longest tenured player in TSM history, staying with the team through the end of 2021. And in a historic agreement, he is now one of the only LCS players to own a stake in the team he plays for.

“It was essential for us to re-sign Bjergsen,” says Andy “Reginald” Dinh, CEO and Founder of TSM. “Not only is he is one of the best players at his position, he is a great leader. He shares the same values we do as an organization. He is selfless, hardworking, and focused. It is this culture of grit, fortitude, and determination that is the most vital part of our organization. At TSM we are committed to living this culture, and Bjergsen is a testament to that. He is more than just a player to us, so making him a strategic shareholder was important.”

As part of the winningest team in North American LCS history, Bjergsen is one of the most successful and respected competitors to ever play the game. His consistent dominance has led many to regard him as the best mid laner in the West, and he is renowned around the world for his game play.

“For the past six years, TSM has been my home and I’ve witnessed it evolve from an esports team to the organization it is today,” said Bjergsen. “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to not only continue my career here as a player, but also be a bigger part of the incredible future that lies ahead for TSM.”
