Streamlabs Music Allows Access to Copyright-Free Music for Live Streaming

Today, Streamlabs is announcing Streamlabs Music, a worry-free way to play copyright-free music on a live stream in Streamlabs Desktop. Powered by Lickd, a music licensing platform for streamers and content creators, all tracks are fully licensed and safe for live streaming on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more. Streamlabs Music is free and available from the Streamlabs App Store.

It’s no secret that copyright claims are a common issue for live streamers. Copyright infringement and DMCA takedowns can result in channel bans and penalties. Streamlabs Music only curates tracks from Lickd’s licensed music catalog to ensure that streamers are always safe to stream.

With Streamlabs Music, streamers now have an expansive library at their fingertips with more than 20 different playlists ranging from EDM and Indie to game-inspired playlists such as Minecraft and Call of Duty. No matter what type of content a streamer creates, streamers can find the perfect playlist for any given stream.

Streamlab Music is free from the Streamlabs App store, and creators can use it in Streamlabs Desktop without any additional software or setup; simply open Steamlabs Desktop, install it from the App Store, register, and press play.
