Battle royale SUPER PEOPLE has officially launched into Early Access, and with it comes the return of Super Tournaments. Open to all players level 10, the Super Tournament is an in-game competitive event that first took place during the final beta test. The tournament is held over 5 regional servers daily and has real cash prizes for players to win.
This time around, the Super Tournament will look a little bit different from what players might expect. To start, all 18 tournaments will be held daily between October 14th to 31st. Players will be competing for a total prize pool of $1,080,000, with additional prizes available to competitors as well. Developer Wonder People plans to give away in-game cash Diamonds as prizes not only for finalists but also for those who qualify for the Group Stage as well.
Registrations have already started for the tournaments and anyone over level 10 can join in. Qualifiers begin at 9 PM and continue through the 1st and 2nd Group Stages all the way through to the Finals. Solo mode will take place on weekdays (Monday through Friday), while duo mode will happen over the weekends. Players that are confident in their skills as a fighter can choose to enter the duo tournament alone.
From Monday to Thursday, the maximum daily prize pool will be $20,000, while from Friday to Sunday a maximum of $100,000 is available. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive cash prizes, and, 4th to 64th place players will be given a different number of Diamonds depending on placement. The total prize pool increases with the number of participants and there must be a minimum of 500 players for the tournament to take place.
