Traverse the toxic woodlands as Igor journeys into the dangerous remains of the Chernobyl reactor. Craft unique weapons, survival gear, and a home base from abandoned scraps to take refuge from the harsh environment. Form alliances with other explorers, ration food supplies, and join forces to take on the unknown. Fight against hostile military, genetically mutated monsters, and deadly radiation throughout a hyper-realistic nearly one-to-one 3D scan of the real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
All in! Games and development studio, The Farm 51, are pleased to announce that Chernobylite is now also available for PlayStation 4 (Digital+Physical) and Xbox One (Digital). Players can get the sci-fi survival horror RPG, set in a hyper-realistic 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, digitally on console storefronts for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99.
Fans eager to get their hands on a physical version of the game for PlayStation 4 will be able to purchase a copy from their local retailers in North America as of today (September 28th), and on October 1st throughout Europe. The PlayStation 4 physical retail edition of Chernobylite features a detailed digital map of the Exclusion Zone, digital postcards, a digital poster, and a digital artbook, ‘The Art of Chernobylite’.
Chernobylite’s console release isn’t the end of its story, however, with more great content planned to be released over the next 14 months in the form of 6 DLCs (including paid and free content). Each DLC will introduce a mix of new missions, monsters, weapons, game modes, and much more. Check out Chernobylite’s brand-new website to learn more about the extensive post-launch content roadmap.
