The world of TEPPEN is set for a demonic battle as the “Demon Dogfight” card pack launches today, bringing fearsome characters from the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and Darkstalkers series to join forces with familiar faces from the Street Fighter series, Mega Man series, Devil May Cry series, and more.
In the “Demon Dogfight” card pack, TEPPEN players will witness an epic struggle for the Forbidden Fruit, a mysterious and powerful artifact that grants overwhelming magical power to its possessor. As demon tribes wage war over this coveted prize, characters from the Darkstalkers series enlist the aid of monsters from the Monster Hunter series, some willingly and others by force. Iconic pairs such as Morrigan Aensland & Lunagaron, Demitri Maximoff & Malzeno, and Jedah Dohma & Garangolm vie for control over the Forbidden Fruit. Shiranui from the Okami series also joins the fray to keep the fruit from falling into the hands of hellish armies.
The “Demon Dogfight” card pack introduces a host of new cards, including the Black card “Underworld Lord Jedah,” the Purple card “New Demon Queen Morrigan,” the Red card “Dark Scion Demitri,” and the Green card “Donalbain.” These formidable allies will help players challenge the demon hordes in intense battles.
To celebrate the release of “Demon Dogfight,” players can also enjoy new and returning background music (BGM) tracks available in the Soul Shop. From May 15 to June 1, 2023, the “Golden Mane -Rajang: Rise Version” (Monster Hunter Rise) and “Gate” (Mega Man X6) tracks can be purchased for 5,000 Souls each. Returning tracks from the Mega Man series, Devil May Cry series, and Monster Hunter series will be available from May 2nd to May 19th, 2023, for 4,000 Souls each.
Players can test their mettle in the limited-time Event Quest “Mission of Ruin” and earn new relics and player icons featuring characters like Sakura, Palico, Vergil, and Decapre. Additionally, the TEPPEN SPECIAL PACK 21 will be available for purchase from May 1st to May 31st, 2023, giving players the opportunity to acquire the new “Yellow Headband (Ryu)” Skin.
With the introduction of the “Demon Dogfight” card pack, the “Genma Onslaught” card set will be rotated out of Standard Mode. As a result, the following card sets are no longer allowed in Standard Mode: DAY OF NIGHTMARES, The Devils Awaken, The Force Seekers, Haunted by Memories, Adventures of a Tiny Hero, The Tale of Amatsu no Kuni, The Battle of Amatsu no Kuni, A Dark Agenda, Ace vs. The People, Dragons of War, Breath of RESISTANCE, and Genma Onslaught.
