Ubisoft is taking racing games to the next level with The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 2: USST Next, set to launch on May 10. The latest update introduces a thrilling partnership between Motorflix and the US Speed Tour series, featuring 10 new events in the middle of Lake Michigan. But that’s not all: a brand-new gameplay modifier never seen before in The Crew 2 has been added, called speed boosters.
The speed boosters are exclusive to the USST Next events and provide a blistering experience as players pass through them, receiving a temporary speed boost of up to 500kmh. But players must be strategic as AIs can also use these speed boosts, making the competition even more intense. The futuristic AGP concept cars can be driven in the Motorflix Arena, a fully dedicated closed track, where players can master the all-new speed boosters.
In addition, the update includes a new Motorpass with 50 tiers of exclusive rewards, free and premium, including special edition vehicles such as the McLaren 720S Spider Blast Edition (Hypercar), the Proto Concept Sparrow Competition (AGP), and the Lotus Evora GTE Overcut Edition (Street race). The Motorpass also features various vanity items, outfits, currency packs, and more.
But that’s not all: 40 additional vanity items are available, including animated roofs, avatar outfits, smoke, tires, underglows, and tinted windows, giving players more customization options than ever before. Plus, there will be returning vehicles from previous Motorpasses available for purchase with Crew Credits and Bucks.
To make things even more exciting, Ubisoft is introducing a new series of weekly iterations with the LIVE Summit experience. During this weekly PvP competition, the goal will be to reach the highest ranking, and the top players will be rewarded with unique items and vehicles based on their ranking.
The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 2: USST Next will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC and Amazon Luna. Get ready to experience the future of racing!
