Today, Embark Studios, a Stockholm-based studio made up of industry veterans from EA and beyond, announces THE FINALS’ Alpha Playtest – the first chance for contestants to try their hand at winning it all and destroying it all! To celebrate the occasion, the studio is releasing its first Pre-Alpha Gameplay Showcase Trailer for the upcoming game.
THE FINALS is a fresh take on the FPS genre — a team-based, free-to-play shooter, wrapped in a game-show format, that pushes environmental dynamism, destruction, and player freedom to the limits. THE FINALS Alpha Playtest on PC via Steam starts this Thursday, September 29th, 2022, 2:00 p.m. CEST, and will be live through October 3rd, 2022, 9:00 a.m. CEST.
The Alpha Playtest is meant to test core game features and operational capabilities – not a marketing beat – there is no streaming or gameplay capture/posting allowed
