Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., a renowned video game developer and publisher, has released Season 3 of the highly popular asymmetrical multiplayer game, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS. This latest season brings exciting new content to the game, including the addition of the notorious Ginyu Force, a new “Snowy Mountain” map, Survivor skins, and powerful Transpheres. Introducing the Ginyu Force
Season 3 introduces the infamous Ginyu Force as the game’s first “Team-Up” Type Raider. Composed of elite mercenaries, each member of the Ginyu Force represents a unique form and possesses powerful abilities inspired by the Dragon Ball anime.
- Guldo (First Form): Guldo’s special ability allows him to temporarily halt the movement of Survivors using the “Paralysis” and “Time Freeze” skills. This enables him to corner Survivors and deal massive damage. If Guldo remains alive during the evolution process, he will continue to patrol the map and freeze Survivors.
- Recoome (Second Form): Recoome has the ability to search for Survivors using a Scouter and possesses several powerful close-range attacks. When evolving, Recoome enhances the Raider’s close-range damage against Survivors.
- Jeice and Burter (Third Form): Jeice and Burter are formidable fighters who possess devastating combination attacks capable of hitting wide groups of Survivors at long range. Players can directly control Jeice, while Burter appears during the use of special moves. If both Jeice and Burter survive the evolution, they will increase the range of the Raider’s Super Attacks.
- Captain Ginyu (Fourth Form): Captain Ginyu’s unique “Body Change” skill allows him to swap bodies with a Survivor, transforming into that Survivor at the maximum transformation level. This leaves the original Survivor weakened, with their transformation level reduced to Level 1. Captain Ginyu’s stats and passive abilities receive a boost based on which Ginyu Force members successfully evolve.
New Content in Season 3
Apart from the addition of the Ginyu Force, Season 3 brings several other exciting features and enhancements to DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS.
- Snowy Mountain Map: Players can explore the new “Snowy Mountain” map, providing a fresh and visually captivating environment to engage in thrilling multiplayer battles.
- Survivor Skins: New Survivor skins based on popular DRAGON BALL characters have been introduced in Season 3. Players can now collect Dende, Fortuneteller Baba, and King Kai skins, adding a touch of familiarity and customization to their gameplay experience.
- Super Saiyan Transpheres: Three new Super Saiyan Transpheres have been added to the game. These Transpheres grant players additional skills to utilize in battles. The new skills include “Instant Descent,” enabling players to instantaneously land on groups, and “Father-Son Kamehameha,” a powerful special attack inspired by an iconic moment from the Dragon Ball series. Additionally, two passive skills based on Goten (Super Saiyan) have been introduced.
Acquiring New Content
To obtain the Ginyu Force, Survivor skins, Transpheres, and other customization items, players can acquire TP Tokens and use them in the in-game store. Fortuneteller Baba can be earned by unlocking Ranks in this Season’s Dragon Tier, providing players with a goal to strive for in their gameplay progression.
