The first expansion for “Minecraft Dungeons,” Jungle Awakens, is available today on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 for players with the Hero Edition of the game or Hero Pass. Also available today is the free Lost Temple update, with its own puzzles, rare loot, and secrets to discover.
What’s new in “Jungle Awakens”?
Players will make their way through three new missions that will take them to the heart of the jungle, where they’ll find new weapons, armor, and artifacts and investigate the source of a mysterious power and wicked corruption: the Jungle Abomination. Players will also battle new hostile mobs like the Leapleaf and Whisperer in their quest to restore balance to the jungle.
How can I get started?
Players with the Hero Edition of the game will receive Jungle Awakens for free (plus Creeping Winter later this year). Players with Standard Edition can upgrade with the Hero Pass. Lost Temple will be available to all players at no additional cost.
What’s next?
“Minecraft Dungeons” has had an incredible first month since release – we’ve seen players from around the world and on all platforms join the fight to defeat the Arch Illager. And our vision for “Minecraft Dungeons” extends well beyond release – or even this summer. We’re releasing Jungle Awakens and Lost Temple today, but these are just the first of many content updates and expansions on the horizon.
