Fans of virtual reality have known for a while now that Ubisoft plans to let them fly through the ruins of Paris as an eagle, issue crucial commands on the bridge of a Federation Starship, and deduce who among their group of medieval villagers is a werewolf. Today at Gamescom, Ubisoft announced the release dates for Eagle Flight, Werewolves Within, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew (as well as a VR-enabling patch for Trackmania Turbo).
EAGLE FLIGHT
Take to the skies over Paris as an eagle and soar past iconic landmarks in single-player exploration or multiplayer competition. Eagle Flight will be released on Oculus Rift on October 18, PlayStation VR on November 8, and HTC Vive on December 20.
STAR TREK: BRIDGE CREW
The incredible adventures of Starfleet vessels have long captured our imaginations, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew lets us live a slice of our space-faring dreams. Players can team up with a crew to explore space together, or take the conn solo as the lone captain of the ship when Star Trek: Bridge Crew comes to HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR on November 29.
WEREWOLVES WITHIN
Though there are reasons to romanticize life in a medieval village, you can’t ignore the possibility that one or more of your fellow villagers could be a werewolf. In Werewolves Within, players join a campfire council in which normal villagers try to figure out which one of them is a werewolf while the actual werewolves try lie their way to the end without being discovered. Werewolves Within will support five to eight players when it comes out on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift on December 6.
TRACKMANIA TURBO
Finally, VR will be introduced to Trackmania Turbo via a free patch for PlayStation VR on November 8.
